Job Description

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and facility staff.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracting, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, quality, and budget challenges.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and document control processes.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
  • Ensure projects are executed safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying future opportunities.
  • Coordinate project closeout activities, punch list completion, and turnover documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2-5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience managing healthcare construction projects, including occupied renovation environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facility requirements, infection control procedures, and phased construction planning.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously.
  • Experience with project delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CM at Risk.
  • Strong financial management and cost-control skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare clients and project stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with construction management software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Experience working with hospitals, medical centers, outpatient facilities, or healthcare systems strongly preferred.
