Job Description

As a Building and Construction Project Manager in Rochester, NY you will:

  • Manage construction projects from award through completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Lead communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Negotiate and administer contracts, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
  • Monitor project financial performance and profitability
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure schedule and quality objectives are met
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

The Successful Applicant

A successful As a Building and Construction Project Manager in Rochester, NY you will should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
  • Proven success managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery
  • Experience managing project budgets and cost controls
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
