Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsLeading local contractor with impressive backlog of workWell tenured group of impressive leadersAbout Our ClientOur client is an established commercial General Contractor with a strong presence in Florida and a track record of delivering ground-up construction projects across multiple sectors.The business offers the opportunity to join an experienced construction team and work on significant commercial developments throughout Florida.Job DescriptionManage ground-up commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring key milestones are achieved.Manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting and overall financial performance.Oversee subcontractor procurement, administration and performance.Manage change orders, contracts and associated project documentation.Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors and project stakeholders.Support estimating and project planning activities.Utilize Procore and other construction management software to maintain accurate project records.Proactively identify and resolve schedule, cost and construction-related challenges.Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual, quality and schedule requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Manager should have:Minimum 5 years of Project Manager experience within commercial construction.Minimum 10 years of total commercial construction industry experience.Strong General Contractor background.Proven experience delivering ground-up retail, big-box retail, supermarket, municipal, mixed-use and/or multifamily projects.Strong knowledge of scheduling, estimating, change management and budget accountability.Demonstrated subcontractor management and administration experience.Proficiency with Procore and construction management software.Strong and consistent employment history.Excellent communication, organization and project leadership skills.Degree in Building Construction or a related discipline preferred.What's on OfferOpportunity to join an established commercial General Contractor.Diverse pipeline of ground-up commercial projects.Exposure to multiple construction sectors and project types.Long-term career opportunity within the Florida construction market.Base salary dependent on experience - $110-130k Fringe benefits include healthcare, bonus, 401kInterested?
