Job Description

The Project Manager's Responsibilities:



  • Take full ownership of projects from preconstruction through final closeout, driving schedule, budget, quality, and execution from start to finish.


  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, holding all parties accountable to schedule, scope, and project expectations.


  • Own project financials, including budget management, cost forecasting, change orders, billing, and overall project profitability.


  • Drive procurement, subcontractor buyout, scope leveling, and contract negotiations to mitigate risk and protect the bottom line.


  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and look-aheads, identifying potential delays early and driving solutions before they impact the critical path.


  • Lead communication with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal operations teams, serving as the central point of contact throughout the build.


  • Proactively manage RFIs, submittals, change management, and project documentation to keep field operations moving.


  • Maintain accountability around safety, quality control, contract compliance, and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful PM will have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.


  • 5-7+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.


  • Strong background across commercial, healthcare, and/or light industrial construction.


  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.


  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Timberline.


  • Demonstrated career stability with a track record of growing within organizations.


  • Strong communicator and relationship builder who can confidently work with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.


  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to navigate contracts, project challenges, and key stakeholder relationships.


  • Hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.
