About Our Client

Our client is a well-established General Contractor based in South Jersey with a strong portfolio of public and commercial construction projects. They specialize in K-12 education, municipal buildings, and institutional work, and are known for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining long-term client relationships across the region.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Oversee all phases of construction, including preconstruction planning, subcontractor procurement, execution, and closeout
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and municipal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure efficient project execution and resolve any on-site issues
  • Review and manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Excel for project tracking, reporting, and document control
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and safety regulations
  • Support financial tracking, cost control, and forecasting across all assigned projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Public Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor in a Project Manager capacity
  • Proven experience delivering K-12 school or municipal construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases of construction
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of both ground-up construction and interior fit-out projects
  • Experience across public and commercial sector projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
