Job Description

Provide hands‑on support for customized manufacturing initiatives while coordinating closely with the team at the overseas production facility.
Enhance existing quality systems to reinforce a zero‑defect mindset across suppliers, internal teams, and support functions.
Partner with program management, engineering, materials, sales, and purchasing teams to achieve project goals and meet operational timelines.
Lead the review of PPAP documentation and ensure timely submission and approval with customers.
Manage customer issue resolution, including complaint analysis, root‑cause identification, and implementation of corrective actions.
Participate in product audits and help maintain ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements throughout the organization.
Collaborate with international cross‑functional teams on product and process improvement efforts, working directly with engineering partners abroad who operate in English.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred but not required
AIAG Core Tools
Continuous Improvement Methodologies - 5Whys, 8D, PDCA, Gemba Walks, 5s
Quality management experience - either ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
Manufacturing processes like wire processing, molding, welding and continuity testing
Proficiency with MS office applications
Ability to read and understanding CAD drawings
ASQ certification is preferred but not required
Potential travel for 25% to manufacturing sites and/or suppliers
