Job Description

Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to validate dimensional accuracy and product compliance.
Execute and document First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with internal and AS9102 standards.
Lead and support process validation for new products, tooling, and manufacturing changes.
Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and process variation.
Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and implement systemic improvements.
Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, control plans, NCRs, and FMEAs.
Support ISO 9001 quality system compliance through audits, documentation, and process control activities.
Inspect incoming materials and finished assemblies to ensure adherence to specifications.

The Successful Applicant

3-5 years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and dimensional inspection techniques.
Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and knowledge of Six Sigma principles preferred.
Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach.
