Job Description

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings using GD&T and ensure accurate part conformance
  • Support AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality system requirements
  • Lead and support FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
  • Conduct and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Provide technical quality support to internal teams and external customers
  • Utilize SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other quality tools to improve processes
  • Collaborate with machining, engineering, and inspection teams to resolve issues
  • Support customer audits and internal audit readiness



Initial Priorities:

  • Take ownership of assigned aerospace customer product lines
  • Quickly understand the company's machining processes & quality workflows
  • Begin handling FAIRs, corrective actions, and blueprint reviews
  • Build strong working relationships with inspection and engineering teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • Experience with AS9100
  • Strong competency in GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience with FAIRs
  • Hands-on experience with corrective actions / RCA investigations
  • Exposure to SPC
  • Engineering degree preferred, not required
