With ongoing investments in complementary product lines and acquisitions, the organization is well-positioned for continued growth, creating exciting opportunities for sales professionals to expand relationships within an established customer base and bring additional solutions to market.Job DescriptionThis Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing an established Midwest territory through distributor partnerships and existing customer relationships. The role is heavily focused on account management, relationship development, and driving organic growth within a stable and successful book of business.Manage and grow a $5M+ territory across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end users throughout the region.Identify opportunities to expand product penetration within existing customer accounts and increase wallet share.Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, provide support, and strengthen long-term partnerships.Collaborate with distributor partners to drive sales growth and maximize market coverage.Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing product knowledge and value-added solutions.Partner closely with internal sales support and account specialists to ensure a seamless customer experience.Monitor market activity, competitive trends, and customer feedback to identify new growth opportunities.Travel throughout the territory (approximately 50%) to maintain customer engagement and drive business development.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. This individual will have experience managing distributor relationships, growing existing accounts, and driving sales within industrial markets such as filtration, compressed air, air handling, HVAC, or related industrial products.Required Qualifications5-10+ years of experience in outside sales, account management, territory management, or business development within an industrial environment.Proven ability to manage and grow customer relationships across a geographic territory.Experience selling through distribution channels and working closely with distributor partners.Willingness to travel throughout a six-state Midwest territory (approximately 50% travel).Preferred QualificationsExperience in industrial filtration, compressed air systems, air handling equipment, HVAC filtration, or related industrial products.Knowledge of air compressors, filter elements, air/oil separators, aftermarket replacement products, or industrial MRO solutions.Technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions.Existing relationships within the industrial distribution, filtration, or compressed air markets.What's on Offer**Remote position covering a six-state Midwest territory.
