Job Description

A successful Retail Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYC:

    • Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout.
    • Assist with project scheduling, budget tracking, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
    • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
    • Track project documentation and maintain accurate project records.
    • Participate in project meetings and help drive project milestones.
    • Assist with job cost reporting, contract administration, and closeout documentation.
    • Support multiple retail construction projects across Manhattan.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Retail Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYC:

      • 2-5+ years of construction management experience with a general contractor.
      • Retail construction experience preferred, including flagship stores, luxury retail, showroom build-outs, or tenant improvements.
      • Strong understanding of construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project coordination.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects.
      • Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
      • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
      • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
