The Sales Manager - Edge AI / IP will lead sales efforts, driving business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities in the field of edge AI and intellectual property solutions. Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals in the AI and defense sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Boston area and the East region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to expand the company's network and visibility.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals to achieve sales targets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager should have:

  • A strong background in sales, particularly within the Intellectual Protocol (IP) & Edge AI space
  • Proven expertise in the DoD, military, defense sectors (a PLUS not required)
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Location - ideally near DC / VA or Boston MA area
  • Travel - 50% fully remote role
