Job Description

  • Own profitability and sales growth across an assigned customer base, including both existing and newly developed accounts
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships at all levels of customer organizations, from engineering to executive leadership
  • Develop deep customer insight around business priorities, market dynamics, and long‑term strategy
  • Effectively manage pricing in alignment with cost structures, product life cycles, and market pressures
  • Identify and mitigate tactical activities that may negatively impact profitability
  • Serve as the commercial lead for all new product development (NPD) initiatives
  • Identify, pursue, and secure profitable new business opportunities within existing customers and new markets
  • Prepare and present strategic proposals to prospective and current customers
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring alignment across sales, engineering, operations, and leadership teams
  • Provide accurate business forecasts as part of quarterly and annual planning cycles
  • Communicate customer insights, pipeline activity, and project updates through CRM and internal business review meetings
  • Ensure customer awareness of the organization's full suite of advanced manufacturing and technical capabilitie

The Successful Applicant

  • A strategic, customer‑focused sales professional with deep experience in plastic injection molding or contract manufacturing environments
  • Proven track record of driving profitable growth across existing accounts while securing new business in competitive markets
  • Highly consultative in approach, serving as a trusted advisor and extension of the customer's organization
  • Demonstrated success building and managing relationships at all levels, including engineering, operations, senior leadership, and executive teams
  • Experienced working with large, complex OEM customers, including Fortune‑level organizations
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance pricing, cost structures, product life cycles, and long‑term value creation
  • Comfortable leading and supporting new product development (NPD) discussions and translating technical capabilities into customer solutions
  • Self‑directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
  • Willing to travel regularly to engage with customers and manufacturing operations
  • Collaborative, accountable, and results‑driven, with strong communication skills and a hands‑on leadership mindset
