Job Description

As a SCA Project Manager | Queens, NY, you will:

  • Manage SCA construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost control.
  • Coordinate architects, consultants, subcontractors, and agency representatives.
  • Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular client updates.
  • Ensure compliance with SCA standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Track project progress, financial performance, and schedule milestones.
  • Collaborate with field Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage owner relations and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and turnover.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SCA Project Manager | Queens, NY should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor.
  • Experience managing SCA, DDC, DASNY, NYCHA, or other public works projects.
  • Strong knowledge of public-sector construction contracts and procedures.
  • Experience with educational facility renovations, additions, or ground-up school projects preferred.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
