Our work includes educational facilities, building renovations, interior fit-outs, infrastructure improvements, and capital construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background managing New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) projects from preconstruction through closeout.Job DescriptionManage all phases of construction projects from award through closeout.Serve as the primary point of contact for SCA representatives, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and SCA requirements.Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor project performance.Prepare and submit RFIs, change orders, submittals, CPM schedules, requisitions, and project reports.Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to company leadership and stakeholders.Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.Ensure compliance with SCA standards, NYC building codes, permit requirements, and contract specifications.Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and punch list activities.Work closely with field superintendents to maintain quality, productivity, and safety.Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
