This role will provide you with the opportunity to own the month end close process, bank reconciliations and growing internally with a global manufacturer.Job DescriptionOwn the month end close process for two plants, including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and creating the financial statementsPartner with the controller on implementing efficiencies in the accounting and close processesPartner cross-functionally with the operations and supply chain teamsGain oversight of the work of the junior analyst to ensure they are completing close on timeLead Mid-Month Forecast by identifying where they are in terms of budget, actual and identifying any potential issuesConducting inventory valuations, standard costing, operational accountingMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
