With hands-on leadership, financial stability, and a strong backlog, they offer a place where experienced construction professionals can make a real impact.Job DescriptionDirect and coordinate all aspects of construction initiatives across a diverse commercial portfolio, ensuring seamless planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.Lead and mentor internal project teams while managing relationships with outside contractors, consultants, and service providers.Align construction strategies with operational objectives by partnering closely with property and asset management teams to enhance resident experience.Support acquisition and investment efforts by evaluating capital requirements and preparing renovation strategies and cost projections during due diligence.Oversee execution of large-scale projects, maintaining strict control over timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Monitor progress and financial performance, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to senior leadership while proactively mitigating risks.Drive the development of project scopes, cost models, procurement processes, and contract negotiations to ensure competitive and transparent bidding.Establish standardized documentation and reporting frameworks for proposals, bids, contracts, site updates, and budget tracking.Implement best practices and operational policies to elevate efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance across all construction activities.Partner with finance and asset management to forecast capital expenditures, prepare multi-year investment plans, and present strategic recommendations.Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing construction team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Build and maintain strong vendor and contractor partnerships to ensure timely, cost-effective project completion.Guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety protocols at every stage of construction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
