Job Description

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining programs (multi-axis, milling, Wire EDM).
  • Design fixtures, tooling, and work-holding solutions to improve efficiency and repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot machining processes and implement high-efficiency machining strategies.
  • Support new product launches from concept through full-scale production.
  • Develop scalable, efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and customers on timelines and deliverables.
  • Lead process validation efforts (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase throughput.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, process engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong CNC programming and multi-axis machining expertise.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
  • Background in process development, NPI, and regulated environments (ISO/FDA preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with EDM and advanced machining processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma or project management certification.
