Job Description

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations, troubleshooting technical issues and driving corrective actions.
  • Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing systems to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain CNC machining programs using industry-standard programming software.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process capability.
  • Lead product and process validation activities while supporting regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Create, revise, and maintain manufacturing procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall performance.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and recommend process improvements to support operational excellence.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and established industry requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong background in machining, grinding, CNC programming, and precision manufacturing processes.
  • Experience within medical device manufacturing or another highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Expertise in tooling, fixture design, process development, and manufacturing optimization.
  • Proficiency with CAD/3D modeling software and manufacturing engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO quality systems, process validation, and engineering documentation.
  • Proven project management capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
