This .Net Developer sits within a front-office pre-trade technology team, delivering critical applications that support pricing, booking, and trading workflows across asset classes. You will design, develop, and maintain a global in-house platform while partnering closely with business stakeholders and international teams.

About Our Client

The client is a global financial services firm with a strong presence in New York, supporting front-office trading teams across multiple asset classes.

This role is based onsite in New York and is on site three days a week. Candidates must be local to the area to interview on site in NYC.

Job Description

    • Design, develop, and implement new features in partnership with product owners and business analysts.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Maintain and enhance existing trading applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
    • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including system designs and deployment procedures.
    • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting issues and delivering enhancements as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful .Net Developer should have:

    • Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development with strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies.
    • Proven experience working in agile environments using tools such as Scrum, Kanban, or JIRA.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions in complex environments.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
    • Experience in a front-office trading environment with knowledge of fixed income products or derivatives.
