Our teams partner directly with utilities, developers, and EPC firms to execute complex infrastructure projects from conceptual design through construction support.Job DescriptionDevelop full physical substation design packages including:General arrangement (GA) drawingsEquipment layout plans and elevationsSections and detail viewsDesign AIS and GIS substation yard layouts (12kV-500kV)Coordinate conduit, duct bank, and trench routing layoutsDevelop and support grounding grid layouts and coordinationDesign control building layouts, cable tray routing, and raceway systemsWork closely with civil and structural teams on foundations, steel structures, and grading plansCoordinate with protection & control engineers to ensure accurate equipment placement and cable routingPerform QA/QC reviews of substation design deliverablesSupport construction teams with RFIs, field changes, and as-built updatesEnsure compliance with utility standards and applicable IEEE/ANSI/NESC requirementsParticipate in design reviews and constructability evaluationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
