Job Description



Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of multifamily and mixed-use projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with ownership, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to keep projects moving forward.
  • Assist with project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking.
  • Support buyout processes and subcontractor management activities.
  • Track project milestones and proactively identify potential risks or schedule impacts.
  • Participate in OAC meetings and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Superintendents to ensure quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved.
  • Mentor junior Project Engineers and assist in developing best practices across project teams.
  • Support Project Managers in driving projects from preconstruction through final turnover.

The Successful Applicant



For the Senior Project Engineer role, we are seeking:

  • 3+ years of construction experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, podium, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project documentation, contract administration, scheduling, and cost controls.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, buyout support, procurement, and change orders.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related construction management software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred.
  • Desire to grow into an Assistant Project Manager and future Project Manager role.
