This role oversees client relations, contract negotiations, and team performance, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements across the organization. Our client is one of the most reputable and established general contractors in the Greater Indianapolis area. They specialize in large scale commercial builds, and area looking to bring on an additional Senior Project Manager to support their growing team. Their main sectors include, healthcare, industrial, pharma, science, and tech projects ranging from $50M+.

Job Description

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction through completion
  • Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and documentation
  • Track and resolve issues related to cost, quality, and performance
  • Communicate with clients and ensure project satisfaction
  • Lead project planning meetings and maintain documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Support estimating, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Complete closeout and turnover requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of construction project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in construction preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with construction software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in the medical/healthcare construction space
