Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will plan and lead key projects or multiple projects from inception through deployment, providing day-to-day management and oversight of project resources, tasks, issues, timelines, cost and scope. In addition to managing projects, a Sr. PM is responsible for:

  • The success and profitability of projects
  • Successful management of project financials, including fee retention
  • Client satisfaction
  • Leading by example
  • Guiding and mentoring project management staff to ensure these individuals are trained for the next level in their career
  • Fostering and building relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Championing company initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree
  • 10+ years managing large and/or simultaneous projects, including experience with self-perform capabilities
  • 6+ years of experience specifically including projects within Technology/Life Science and/or Healthcare, Higher Education, Corporate, Light Industrial, Manufacturing, and K-12 sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and trust with external partners, including owners, representatives, design firms, and subcontractors
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
  • Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel
  • Estimating and field experience a plus
  • Scheduling experience preferred
  • Experience working in process/production facilities, greenfield or retrofit projects.
  • Instrumentation and Controls experience a plus
