Job Description

  • Serve as the primary project leader responsible for the successful delivery of a mission critical data center project
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, change management, and monthly reporting
  • Lead project planning efforts from preconstruction through final turnover
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for ownership representatives
  • Coordinate internal teams, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and design partners
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and recovery plans as required
  • Lead procurement strategy for major subcontractors, equipment packages, and long-lead materials
  • Mitigate project risks and proactively resolve issues related to budget, schedule, quality, and constructability
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project-specific performance standards
  • Drive collaboration between field operations, engineering, commissioning, and project controls teams
  • Manage subcontractor performance and contract compliance throughout project execution
  • Support commissioning activities, turnover planning, and final project closeout
  • Present project progress, financial updates, and key performance indicators to executive leadership and clients
  • Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers
  • Help establish operational best practices and systems for future mission critical project delivery

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • 10+ years of data center, mission critical, or highly technical construction experience
  • Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Strong knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, subcontract administration, and cost controls
  • Experience managing complex MEP scopes and critical infrastructure systems
  • Strong understanding of contractual requirements, procurement strategies, and risk management
  • Ability to lead large project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with construction management, scheduling, and project controls platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or mission critical facilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Experience overseeing projects exceeding $25M in value
  • Familiarity with commissioning, integrated systems testing, and mission critical startup processes
  • Experience mentoring and developing project management team members
