We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring successful delivery of quality projects on time and within budget.

Job Description

  • Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Lead preconstruction planning and project startup activities.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project costs and implement strategies to maintain budget objectives.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships.
  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure project compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while driving effective solutions.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and other project team members.
  • Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager - Data Center / Mission Critical should have:

  • 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven success managing ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Experience leading multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
