Job Description



Key Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager

  • Manage multiple design/build projects simultaneously, overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, and safety
  • Lead projects from preconstruction and engineering coordination through ground‑up construction and turnover
  • Provide strong leadership to project teams, including project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades to ensure constructability and compliance
  • Drive project planning, procurement, subcontractor buyout, and change management
  • Interface directly with owners, design partners, and internal leadership to ensure client satisfaction
  • Ensure projects meet all regulatory, quality, and safety requirements, particularly in pharmaceutical environments
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement of project execution processes

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline required)
  • 15+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor
  • Heavy mechanical and electrical background with proven experience on complex MEP‑driven projects
  • Experience working for a design/build general contractor is strongly preferred
  • Ground‑up construction experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage more than one project at a time
  • Stable career history with 3+ years at each previous employer (no job hoppers)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated commercial environments preferred
