They are committed to preserving architectural character while modernizing infrastructure to support creative, commercial, and residential uses.Job DescriptionPlan, budget, schedule, and execute multiple concurrent capital construction projects.Support the Director of Construction in implementing the long‑term campus master plan.Define project scope, goals, timelines, and procurement strategies from preconstruction through closeout.Lead coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, ownership, and tenants.Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, design teams, and stakeholders.Proactively identify risks, cost drivers, and constructability issues; implement mitigation strategies.Oversee and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Superintendents.Manage subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and performance.Track project costs, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and work‑in‑place.Prepare and present conceptual and detailed cost estimates with clear assumptions.Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA standards, life‑safety requirements, and quality controls.Lead jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professional standards across an active, occupied environment.Review and approve subcontractor invoices, monthly AIA billings, and payment applications.Utilize Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam to manage documentation and schedules.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
