About Our Client

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support large-scale Transmission & Power Delivery projects across utility and EPC environments. This individual will lead the execution of high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout while managing client relationships, schedules, budgets, construction coordination, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Job Description

  • Lead execution of transmission and power delivery projects from planning through commissioning
  • Manage projects involving transmission lines, substations, switchyards, and utility infrastructure
  • Oversee projects ranging from 69kV, 115kV, 138kV, 230kV, 345kV, and up to 500kV systems
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
  • Interface directly with utility clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
  • Support construction activities, outage coordination, and field execution
  • Monitor project scope, cost, quality, and safety performance
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and engineers
  • Support renewable energy interconnection and grid modernization initiatives where applicable

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager - Transmission & Power Delivery should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience managing transmission and power delivery projects
  • Strong background supporting utility, EPC, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing high-voltage transmission projects within utility environments
  • Knowledge of transmission construction practices, utility standards, and project controls
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • PMP and/or PE preferred
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
