My client is a reputable Brooklyn-based General Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale ground-up residential construction projects throughout New York City. They specialize in both Mixed-use market-rate and affordable housing developments, delivering complex multifamily projects from excavation through turnover

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
  • Lead subcontractor procurement and contract administration
  • Coordinate with ownership, consultants, and field operations teams
  • Monitor project costs and manage change orders
  • Ensure compliance with NYC regulations and project requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact delivery
  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders throughout construction

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience required
  • Experience managing projects in NYC preferred
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and project controls
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
