The General Contractor Our client is a well respected and established national contractor in the Detroit Metro and are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. They have several high profile commercial projects coming up and an extensive backlog through 2030 and are looking for someone who can lead. This company has an incredible reputation across the Detroit area, known for their high-quality work and emphasis on work life balance.

Job Description

  • Managing ground up solar / energy projects from foundation to turnover
  • Successfully lead construction projects valued over $50M+
  • Delivering on time and within budge projects for clients across Michigan
  • Create and maintain the master schedule
  • Assist in preconstruction planning
  • Oversee Project Engineers and delegate tasks
  • Work alongside Superintendet and subcontractors to deliver successful projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.


  • Bachelors Degree (preferential to Construction or engineering degrees)


  • 6+ years experience minimum as lead Project Manager on projects


  • Must have familiarity with the Industrial Sector or Renewables/Energy


  • Ability to run projects on their own


  • Familiarity with building a team around themselves

  • Base salary: $140-170K, based upon experience
