About Our Client

This is an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants to do more than deliver projects-they want to make an impact.

Join an established general contracting and construction management firm with a strong portfolio of government, municipal, institutional, commercial, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will take ownership of complex public-sector construction initiatives, lead multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships, and drive results that matter.

You will have the autonomy to make critical decisions, the responsibility to lead projects from concept through completion, and the opportunity to help shape outcomes that serve public agencies and local communities. We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded leader who can turn challenges into solutions, elevate project performance, and leave a lasting mark on every project they lead.

Job Description

  • Lead with ownership: Direct complex federal, municipal, and public-sector construction projects from preconstruction and planning through execution, turnover, and final closeout.
  • Drive project performance: Establish and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting, proactively identifying opportunities to improve outcomes.
  • Make an impact through leadership: Set clear expectations, empower project teams, collaborate closely with field leadership, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and results.
  • Influence key decisions: Serve as a trusted partner to owners, government agencies, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, bringing forward solutions that balance cost, schedule, quality, and long-term value.
  • Anticipate and resolve challenges: Identify project risks early, navigate competing priorities, resolve complex issues, and make sound decisions that keep projects moving forward.
  • Own contracts and commercial outcomes: Oversee contract administration, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, contract modifications, payment applications, and related documentation.
  • Lead public-sector compliance: Ensure adherence to government contracting requirements, prevailing wage provisions, certified payroll, MBE/WBE participation goals, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Champion safety and quality: Partner with field teams and subcontractors to maintain rigorous safety practices, quality standards, inspection readiness, and consistent execution.
  • Strengthen client relationships: Build credibility through transparent communication, reliable delivery, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Deliver lasting value: Oversee punch-list completion, owner handover, documentation, and project closeout while identifying lessons learned and opportunities to improve future performance.

    • Demonstrated success managing project financials, schedules, subcontractors, change management, risk, and overall project delivery.
    • The confidence to make informed decisions, address difficult challenges, and take ownership of results.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
    • The ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams while building strong working relationships with clients, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
    • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
