Their team supports major electric utility clients across transmission, substation, and grid modernization initiatives, with a strong reputation for technical excellence, stability, and long-term client relationships.Job DescriptionLead the engineering and design of overhead transmission line projects ranging from HV through EHV voltage classesDevelop and review transmission line routing, plan/profile drawings, structure loading trees, and construction packagesPerform and oversee engineering calculations related to sag/tension, clearances, structure loading, and line designUtilize and review work performed in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and related design softwareCoordinate closely with civil, structural, geotechnical, substation, and protection & control teamsServe as a technical resource and mentor for junior engineers and designersSupport project execution including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and quality controlInterface directly with utility clients, contractors, permitting agencies, and external stakeholdersReview vendor drawings, contractor submittals, and material specificationsEnsure designs comply with NESC, ASCE, and client-specific engineering standardsSupport construction activities, field reviews, and issue resolution as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
