Job Description

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through completion.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Coordinate project schedules and ensure milestone achievement.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct daily site meetings and progress reviews.
  • Partner with project managers, owners, architects, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
  • Manage site logistics, sequencing, and project coordination.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure successful project delivery while minimizing disruption to facility operations.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
  • Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
