Job Description

  • Manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee ground‑up retail, tenant improvements, and remodel work.
  • Lead and mentor APMs, Superintendents, and project teams.
  • Maintain schedules, budgets, and quality across concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong client communication and satisfaction.
  • Utilize project management and scheduling tools for tracking and reporting.
  • Support preconstruction efforts including planning and execution strategy.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Special Projects Construction Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing multiple retail or special projects simultaneously.
  • Background in:
    • Retail construction (banks, restaurants, TI)
    • Ground‑up and renovation projects
  • Experience leading teams of APMs and Superintendents.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Procore and preferably Primavera P6.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
