Job Description

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across aviation and transportation markets throughout the Americas region.
  • Create and execute territory plans and account strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers across target organisations.
  • Conduct prospecting activities through networking, referrals, industry events, social selling, and direct outreach.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Develop tailored solutions alongside technical, operational, and delivery teams.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through cross-selling and account expansion initiatives.
  • Present solutions, conduct business reviews, and facilitate executive-level meetings.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and pipeline management within CRM platforms.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within aviation and transportation sectors.
  • Represent the organisation at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales, revenue, and profitability targets.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven sales professional with a proven history of generating new business and managing complex B2B sales cycles.
Key requirements include:

  • 5 to 10 years of successful B2B sales experience with consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Experience selling professional services, managed services, workforce solutions, IT staffing, service desk, or service management offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.
  • Strong account management skills with experience developing and growing customer portfolios.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with executive and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Confident presentation, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Highly motivated, consultative, and self-directed approach to business development.
  • Ability to research prospect organisations, identify business challenges, and position appropriate solutions.

Desirable experience:

  • Previous exposure to aviation, airports, airlines, transportation, logistics, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience selling into operational environments requiring workforce, managed service, or technology support solutions.
  • Existing industry relationships within aviation or transportation sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
