About Our Client

Our client is a nationally respected general contractor delivering highly complex projects across the Southeast and beyond. With a strong and growing portfolio in the data center and mission critical sector, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support large-scale pursuits and preconstruction efforts for projects in the Nashville market, operating out of their Memphis office.

Job Description

      • Leading estimating and preconstruction efforts for data center and mission critical construction projects
      • Preparing detailed conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates for projects ranging from early design through construction documents
      • Managing subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, scope review, and cost validation
      • Collaborating with operations, design teams, and clients to develop accurate budgets, schedules, and logistics strategies
      • Identifying cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability considerations
      • Supporting procurement strategies for long-lead and mission critical MEP systems
      • Contributing to proposal preparation, interviews, and client presentations
      • Mentoring junior estimators and supporting continuous improvement within the preconstruction team

The Successful Applicant

      • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating
      • Significant experience with data center, mission critical, advanced technology, healthcare, or industrial projects
      • Proven track record delivering accurate estimates on projects valued at $50M+ (experience with $100M+ projects preferred)
      • Strong understanding of MEP systems, redundancy, and technical scopes common to mission critical environments
      • Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software and takeoff tools
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface directly with owners, designers, and subcontractors
      • Willingness to support the Nashville market while being based from the Memphis office
