Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager - Design-Build Projects - DC will be responsible for:

  • Leading a $50M+ design‑build and complex construction projects from start to finish
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and internal teams
  • Overseeing project budgeting, cost controls, scheduling, and risk management
  • Leading and mentor project teams, fostering accountability and collaboration
  • Proactively identify issues and resolve them before they impact cost or schedule
  • Driving decision‑making while maintaining alignment with company goals and client expectations
  • Ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and performance standards
  • As a Senior Project Manager, take full ownership of outcomes while leveraging leadership support
  • The Senior Project Manager is expected to operate independently while collaborating closely with executives and peers

The Successful Applicant

The Sr. Project Manager - Design-Build Projects - DC should have:

  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial or institutional construction projects
  • Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions in fast‑paced environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly organized with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Apps or other related software
