MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related ABET accredited engineering discipline is required.Typically, 7 or more years of substation design experience.Professional Engineer (PE) license required.SkillsDemonstrated ability to lead technical design packages and multidisciplinary coordination.Advanced knowledge of substation electrical and physical design principles.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Excel; familiarity with WinIGS, Visual, or similar tools.Proven ability to mentor or lead teams, manage technical scope, budgets, and schedules for multiple projects.High level of independence, accountability, and technical judgment.Excellent communication and client-facing skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $160,000 USD, based on qualifications and experience.Opportunity to work in a key role within the energy and natural resources sector.A temporary position offering hands-on experience with impactful projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Engineer to make a meaningful impact.
