Job Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for commercial ground-up projects valued at $10M+
  • Champion jobsite safety, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners throughout project execution
  • Drive project schedules through look-ahead planning, sequencing, and daily field coordination
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure successful project delivery
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting activities, and interactions with local authorities having jurisdiction
  • Manage site logistics, mobilization efforts, commissioning activities, and project closeout
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership to achieve project milestones
  • Utilize scheduling and field reporting technologies to track project progress and documentation
  • Support implementation of BIM/VDC processes on technology-driven construction projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of field supervision experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience leading ground-up construction projects valued at $10M or greater
  • Stable career history with reputable general contractors
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors on active jobsites
  • Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
  • Comfortable using digital field reporting, documentation, and mobile project management platforms
  • Ability to commute to project sites throughout Boston, Metro Boston, and the surrounding suburbs
  • Life science, manufacturing, or multifamily project experience is highly preferred
  • BIM/VDC exposure is a plus
