Job Description

As a Superintendent - Construction - Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all day-to-day field operations on luxury residential renovation projects
  • Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Maintaining project schedules and driving milestone completion
  • Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, and ownership teams
  • Overseeing full-gut interior renovations from demolition through final turnover
  • Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, stone, plaster, metalwork, and specialty finish installations
  • Conducting quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
  • Managing logistics within occupied buildings and residential neighborhoods
  • Leading daily safety meetings and enforcing OSHA standards
  • Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Identifying and resolving field issues proactively
  • Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Managing punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience within construction
  • Extensive experience managing high-end residential interior renovation projects
  • Proven experience overseeing renovations of brownstones, townhomes, penthouses, duplexes, luxury apartments, or custom residences
  • Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, architectural detailing, stone, plaster, and specialty finishes
  • Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Strong knowledge of luxury residential construction sequencing and project logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining project schedules
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Carpentry background is highly preferred but not required
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
