Job Description

As a Superintendent - Construction - Greenwich, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all day-to-day field operations on luxury custom home projects
  • Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Maintaining project schedules and ensuring milestone completion
  • Coordinating architects, interior designers, engineers, and ownership teams
  • Overseeing construction from sitework and foundation through final turnover
  • Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metalwork, and specialty finish installations
  • Conducting quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
  • Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Leading jobsite safety meetings and enforcing OSHA standards
  • Identifying and resolving field issues proactively
  • Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Managing punch-list completion and homeowner turnover
  • Ensuring all work meets the highest standards of luxury residential construction

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience within construction
  • Extensive experience managing ground-up custom home construction projects
  • Proven experience with luxury homes, estate residences, or high-end residential construction
  • Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing from excavation through completion
  • Experience overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stonework, specialty finishes, and architectural details
  • Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
