They offer the opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership on unique, technically challenging projects where quality craftsmanship is a priority.Job DescriptionLead day-to-day, on-site construction activities for a complex residential renovation and expansion.Oversee significant structural work, including excavation, foundations, underpinning, core and shell construction.Manage construction of new basement spaces featuring a pool/spa area, sauna and home theater.Coordinate the addition of new living spaces and a three-car garage.Direct extensive demolition and renovation work within the existing residence.Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and project sequencing to maintain schedule and quality.Ensure work meets the high standards required for luxury residential finishes and craftsmanship.Maintain a safe, organized and professional job site throughout construction.Communicate effectively with project leadership, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.Navigate the added logistical considerations of an occupied property, with the homeowners residing in a guest house during construction.Utilize construction management and drawing software to track progress and support field operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
