Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate and drive daily field operations, ensuring alignment with project schedules and milestones
  • Lead and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship, productivity, and coordination across trades
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in collaboration with project management
  • Maintain and enforce strict safety standards and create a secure jobsite environment
  • Oversee quality control, ensuring all work meets contract documents and federal standards
  • Prepare and maintain daily reports and field documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, inspectors, and local officials
  • Manage labor forces and site logistics, ensuring efficient use of resources

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of construction experience as a Superintendent (10+ years preferred)
  • Federal construction experience is required (NAVFAC and/or USACE strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing heavy civil, utility, or infrastructure components within larger builds
  • Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and construction sequencing
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar tools is a plus
  • Holds OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • High level of integrity, organization, and dependability
  • Ability to meet federal security clearance requirements
