This client primarily builds in the education, healthcare, multifamily and educational housing sectors of the market, but they are also active in corporate interiors and other general commercial building. Job Description

The Commercial Superintendent - Great Family Like Culture - Myrtle Beach will be responsible for:

  • Meeting weekly and communicating daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries.
  • Managing the site through completion.
  • Proactively identifying design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues.
  • Attaining a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications.
  • Enforcing safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.
  • Maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
  • Communicating daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved.

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Superintendent - Great Family Like Culture - Myrtle Beachshould have:

  • 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience with a general contractor is required
  • Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required
  • Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
  • Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
  • Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
  • Local to Myrtles Beach preferred, though relocators will be thoroughly considered

  • Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $100,000-$140,000
  • Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance
