The Superintendent will create and execute pre-planning activities with subcontractors. Coordinate with suppliers, inspectors, subcontractors and architects to resolve any issues with methods or materials, and inspect in-progress work to ensure workmanship adheres with construction schedules and specifications.

About Our Client

Our client is seeking an experience Construction Superintendent with a highlighted focus on multifamily and/or senior living projects to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The successful candidate will have experience managing all phase of a multifamily construction project, both ground-up and renovations.

Job Description

  • Oversee all field operations, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and inspectors
  • Multi-family housing construction experience
  • Directing and supervising all trades; concrete, framing, drywall, plastering, painting, etc.
  • Resolve field issues
  • Coordinate field permits
  • Conduct weekly safety meetings with subcontractors
  • Maintain job site safety documentation and scheduling job site safety inspections
  • Work with Project Managers and Project Engineer
  • Coordinate job needs with Project Manager
  • Site visits, owner/architect meetings
  • Coordinate manpower and subcontractor issues/scheduling
  • Quality control
  • Job site photo documentation
  • Monitoring field sign in sheets

The Successful Applicant

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry

* Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry

* Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success

* Experience building ground up multifamily projects of at least $5M

* OSHA certification preferred

* Demonstrated success leading projects and working within a team
