Job Description

  • Gather and document business needs to create clear technical requirements for Technology projects.
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify goals, priorities, and expected project outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications that technical teams can use.
  • Review requirements with stakeholders and technical teams to confirm shared understanding.
  • Map current and future workflows to identify process needs and system impacts.
  • Support project planning by tracking requirements, decisions, and changes throughout delivery.
  • Help test solutions against documented requirements and report gaps for resolution.

A successful Technical Business Analyst should have:

  • Experience gathering, documenting, and refining business and technical requirements.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional specifications.
  • Ability to map workflows and identify system impacts.
  • Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to organize requirements, decisions, and project changes clearly.
  • Experience supporting solution testing against documented requirements.
