Known for disciplined execution and advisory-first thinking, they partner closely with clients to reduce risk, control costs, and drive predictable outcomes.Job DescriptionThe Traveling BD Manager - Utilities - Owner's Rep will:Develop and execute a national business development strategy focused on utility real estate, facilities, and capital programsBuild and nurture long-term relationships with investor-owned utilities, positioning the firm as a trusted advisorSecure meetings with utility stakeholders to present advisory and project management servicesSupport entry onto vendor lists and pursuit of Master Service Agreements (MSAs)Engage clients early in planning discussions, prior to formal RFPsLeverage CRM tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo) to manage pipeline, outreach, and account strategyCollaborate with executive leadership to align business development efforts with firm growth goalsExecute marketing initiatives developed by external consultants, including newsletters, blogs, webinars, and lunch-and-learnsHost and coordinate lunch-and-learn sessions, industry events, and educational presentationsTravel 30-40% to meet clients, attend networking events, and visit project sitesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
