Job Description

  • Support day-to-day project activities under direction of the Project Manager
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage scopes from design through commissioning
  • Lead MEP coordination efforts including BIM, submittals, and construction execution
  • Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with contract documents and client expectations
  • Track and report progress related to MEP installations
  • Assist with budgeting, invoicing, scheduling, and reporting
  • Solicit and manage subcontractor and vendor bids for MEP scopes
  • Support change order development, cost updates, and procurement tracking
  • Partner with field teams to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
  • Assist with project startup and closeout processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling MEP Assistant Project Manager - Data Center should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of commercial construction experience required, 3 to 5+ years preferred
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes
  • Exposure to low voltage systems such as BMS, EPMS, SCADA, fire alarm, security, or telecom preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with a high level of accountability and professionalism
  • Ability to work in field conditions including extended hours and varying environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel based on project assignments
