Job Description

As a Traveling Project Manager, you will report to a senior operations leader and take full ownership of nationwide projects from preconstruction through close‑out.

  • Lead delivery of ground‑up and renovation industrial projects ranging from $40 million to $100 million+
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Home every 3 weeks
  • Oversee on‑site teams while maintaining best‑in‑class safety performance
  • Coordinate with estimating, design, and field leadership to ensure seamless execution
  • Drive schedule certainty and cost control across fast‑paced project environments
  • Support client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Travel nationwide as projects require, with full logistical and financial support

The Successful Applicant

For the Traveling Project Manager role, we are seeking:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large‑scale industrial construction projects
  • Background in warehouses, distribution centers, mission‑critical, big‑box, or tilt‑wall construction
  • Experience managing projects $40 million+ in value
  • Strong financial acumen, scheduling expertise, and subcontractor management skills
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for extended project assignments
  • Collaborative leadership style with a safety‑first mindset
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard project management and scheduling software



What's on Offer

  • Base salary: $115,000 - $165,000
  • Additional 10% of base salary for traveling assignments
  • Additional 10% of base salary when assigned to data center projects

  • Per diem totaling approximately $51,240 per year
  • $1,000 per month travel‑home allowance
