Job Description

  • Build relationships with veterinary distributors across companion animal, equine, and livestock/production animal segments.
  • Identify and prioritize channel partners and end customers best suited to the company's product portfolio.
  • Lead the commercial launch of product families, including disinfectants, wound care, PPE, and procedure sets/kits into veterinary channels.
  • Own and manage the division's P&L, driving sales and gross margin performance.
  • Manage inventory and travel budgets for the division.
  • Determine the veterinary product portfolio and lead branding decisions in partnership with marketing and product development teams.
  • Define and execute the division's customer strategy.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline from the ground up.
  • Represent the company at veterinary trade shows, distributor events, and industry conferences.
  • Track and report progress against revenue and margin targets on a regular basis.
  • Recommend, hire, and build a sales team as business growth and volume justify expansion.
  • Lead the overall strategy for entering and growing within the veterinary market.
  • Own customer relationships and drive business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and product development teams to support execution and growth.

The Successful Applicant

  • Possesses direct, verifiable relationships with veterinary distributors and key decision-makers.
  • Has 5+ years of experience selling products through the veterinary distribution channel.
  • Experience selling into companion animal, equine, and/or livestock/production animal markets.
  • Demonstrated success opening new accounts and building new distribution relationships, rather than simply managing existing accounts.
  • Proven ability to launch and grow new business opportunities from the ground up.
  • Experience with veterinary consumables, wound care, disinfectants, PPE, procedure kits, or related healthcare products is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable creating go-to-market strategies and building a sales pipeline independently.
  • Experienced working in entrepreneurial or high-growth environments with limited infrastructure and resources.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with distributors, buyers, and channel partners.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership or significant commercial accountability.
  • Self-directed and capable of succeeding in a fully remote, high-autonomy leadership role.
  • Interested in building and eventually leading a veterinary sales organization as the division scales.
  • Comfortable working within a multicultural, globally connected organization.
